Manor "Pienkow"

The manor, "Pienkow" is the place of a variety of international meetings as well as hosts the renown "Pienkow International Art Workshop".

Take Highway 17 south to Lublin (153 km). Before reaching downtown Lublin, take the bypass left to Chelm (highway12 - 71 km). When approaching downtown Chelm, take the bypass to Hrubieszow (highway 844). After leaving the Chelm city limits, travel 7 km to Natalin. In Natalin take a left (east) to Dorohusk, pass
through the villages Czerniejow and Andrzejow. Approximately 6 km later, on the first cross after passing Andrzejow, turn right (south) to Klesztow and pass over the bridge over the Udal stream for about 1 km.
Finally, turn left (east) and travel an additonal 3 km to Pienkow Manor.

Estate "Pienkow" consists of over 5000 ha of land located in southeast Poland about 200 km (140 miles) from Warsaw in the Lublin district spread over three counties, Zmudz, Kamen and Dorohusk.

The property is composed of about 4000 ha of agricultural land and about 1000 ha of forest. The farm is called "Suchekownaty Pienkow". The main cultivated crops are wheat, rape, barley and corn. The pasture supports about 500 breeding beef cattle consisting of two breeds - American Black Angus and French Limousine. The forest has been transformed in part into a wildlife refuge for deer and elk and the lakes into a refuge for swans.
