International Art Workshop Pienkow 2007
The winner of the competition of the 6th annual International Art Workshops in Pienkow is Tomasz Kalitko from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland.

Our sixth International Art Workshop Pienkow 2007 took place in Pienkow from June 23, 2007 to July 7, 2007. The Art Advisory Committee reviewed a large number of portfolios of alumni from renown art centers and awarded participation in our workshop to the following artists:

According to our tradition, laureate of last year's workshop, Margot Lamers presented her art at Galeria 72 in Chelm, Poland. This event was connected with the exhibition "Od wschodu do zachodu slonca" - the paintings of Piotr Kielan and the ceramics of Katarzyna Koczynska-Kielan, both professors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland.

We concluded our workshop with an exhibition of art evaluated by our Artistic Advisory Committee: Professor Baj from Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw; Mr. Oganes Kazarian, artist; Margot Lamers, winner from 2006; Professor Tomasz Psuja from the Academy of Fine Arts, Poznan; Professor Piotr Kielan from the Academy of Fine Arts, Wroclaw; Professor Yurij Hirko from the Academy of Fine Arts, Minsk; Arnim Tolke anf Frierich Drickgesser, artists from the Academy of Fine Arts in Dusseldorf; and Dr. Marek Maria Pienkowski. The jury selected Tomasz Kalitko from Poznan as a winner of the competition.

Our 6th Pienkow International Art Workshop 2007 concluded as usual with a fine gala, at Dr. Pienkowski's residence Pienkow, which brought a variety of artists, local business elite and politicians.

Saturday, June 23rd |
The artists from Dusseldorf, Germany and Minsk, Belarus arrive to Warsaw and travel by car to Uher House of Creative Arts. Poznan artists arrive independently to Uher. |
| Sunday, June 24th |
Party at Dr. Pienkowski's residence at 17:00 for formal opening of workshop. Presentation of 2007 Pienkow artists and dinner. |

Art creativity day for artists. |
| Tuesday, June 26th |
Sightseeing trip to Chelm and local museum; and meeting with local art community. |
| Wednesday, June 27th |
Art creativity day for artists. |
| Thursday, June 28th |
Sightseeing trip to Kozlowka (post-Stalin museum of Communistic art). Sightseeing in Lublin including Mydanek - former Nazi concentration camp memorial. |
